    I'm mind blown! I was researching about Christianity and what came before it within the uk and read it was paganism. Having now looked into it, its all starting to make sense to me this is me! Through out my life i have been always drawn to nature, my name Lee literally means meadow and i am gay so never felt like i was truly appreciated or excepted with Christianity because of this. I will have to look more into paganism because i am only just learning about it tonight but i feel like this is my calling so far. Thanks for sharing!

    My mother told me, when I told her about a couple of odd things at about age 7, that I should not try to find things or use anything I "found." She had a gift for knowing things and quit playing cards with friends because it wasn't good to be too lucky. I have some Irish in my background, supposedly, but iI've got heritage from lots of sources. Being a stubborn child, I obeyed for awhile but forever, and scared myself silly in my twenties "playing" with stuff I shouldn't have. (My mother said "What did I tell you?! ") So I let it alone.

    Not all Irish people agree with you. Some are very anti what you are for, and they are truly Irish. Just because you and your "followers" want to change things to be "back to the Earth hippies" doesn't mean that Ireland will return to being pagan. Most Irish are lapsed Roman Catholic or non religious and want to live a normal everyday life. I personally like to hear your stories of Irish history, but to me it's only that, history.

    Hi Jon, I respect both you and Lora and am extremely grateful to have found the IPS. I will admit that I did send a stupid email right at the beginning of my learning, which I apologise profusely for (I now know better and endeavour to do better). I have since been purposely not emailing the IPS because I'd hate to step over your boundaries inadvertently. I've worried that my questions would perhaps cause annoyance as they may seem stupid or too simple to warrant bothering you with. Maybe I'll be brave and email a question or two, but they won't be about my dreams, journeys, or supposed messages for you from deities (I dont have any for either of you, just for the record 😂). I'd never expect you to figure out my shite for me, but I have on occasion wanted to ask advice to point me in the right direction so I can go figure it out for myself. Mind yourselves and as always looking forward to your content here and on all your teaching platforms 😊

      @@John-dt2do Perhaps stupid was a poor choice of word. I did try to clarify it with adding too simple. I get the urge to ask questions, but end up not because I realise how hard Jon and Lora work and don't wish to add to it with something simple. If I get properly stuck with something or feel I have a question worthy of their time, then I most likely will. If you're referring to my first use of the word stupid, I did what alot of people do after having a first experience of the Morrigan, basically is this the Morrigan? At the time it was motivated by the feeling, you guys know more than me so you seem like the people to talk too. However, it's my journey not theirs and as such only I will be able to find the answers. I trust the deities to clue me in when there's a need for me to know. Perhaps ignorance is a better word than stupid in this situation.

      @kieratorockio3551 4 дня назад

      "With sovereignty comes great responsibility" EXACTLY!!! Too many people are quick to blame others and outside forces for bad things happening to them and some go so far as to give outside forces credit for the good things that happen rather than taking responsibility for their own actions good or bad. While it is important to appreciate and give thanks when its due we shouldn't sacrifice or reduce our own sovereignty to do so. The same when something bad is done to us the person/s responsible need to be held accountable for their part but we also need to look at what choices we made that could have led to that outcome. Its all about balance, right?

    • @alexandergriffith4517
      @alexandergriffith4517 4 дня назад

      @@kieratorockio3551 It is about balance per se... But can one be balanced and still grow and develop? Also, it is not the victims fault that they were s*xually *ssaulted or harassed. In those cases, their personal sovereignty was violated by someone seeking to hold a dominant power position over them; same goes for people who engage in blackmail... It's a violation of sovereignty and consent. And it's up to each of us who are responsible for the care and maintenance of a Tuatha to stand between our members and those who would deprive them of their personal sovereignty.

    • @kieratorockio3551

      @@alexandergriffith4517 I think there can be growth and balance. I think that we aren't going to be constantly in balance, nobody is perfect like that. We do the best we can to maintain balance and that involves constant growth and work. Balance doesn't just happen you have to work to maintain it. If two people are on a see saw they're working together to keep it balanced, when one gets off things are out of balance. This would be like an outside force causing you to lose balance, maybe by violating your personal sovereignty, then you gotta put in the work to regain your balance. It's a give and take. By working to maintain balance you go through periods where you become out of balance and you must grow to regain it

    Shamanism was the one spiritual practice that emerged with the consciousness of humanity. Shamanism and its nature and magic based belief is found in all cultures of this world. Once humans started to settle and organize life, so did Shamanism. The Temples of the early spiritual practices, going back as far as ancient Mesopotamia, were shamanistic based until a “creation story” further developed a religious organization by creating pantheons of anthropomorphic Gods and a hierarchy of priests. Each culture had their own way of organizing their previous shamanistic practices and beliefs around their own mythology and creation stories. The beginning of settled life splintered this homogeneous belief (found in all cultures from Africa to Europe and into the New World) and the stratification of the society gave birth to an increasingly rigid system of religious castes. The very specific knowledge these Paleolithic shamans possessed became an occult and arcane knowledge. The Mysteries (mystery religions/cults) were further outgrowths of “bottling up” this shamanistic magic for the “special few.” Druids were thus the Elite of the first Early European Farmers who settled Neolithic Europe. These early farmers arrived as early as the 7th millennium in the Iberian Peninsula where they erected the Cromlech d’Almendres. Britain and Ireland were only settled around 4000 BCE, thus many millennia after the first Cromlech (stone circle) went up on the continent. Therefore, it is not hard to believe that British/Irish druids were sent to the continent (France/Iberia) which had been the center of the megalithic religion/druidism many millennia before Britain/Ireland were first settled by these people. In summary, archaeological evidence places the beginning of what would later be called Druidism, in France and Iberia and therefore this region is the more likely candidate for the origin of the Druids. As the originating culture of Early European Farmers was increasingly replaced with Steppe ancestry, the Druidic belief took more and more local variations. The origin, and almost complete replacement of this Early European Farmer culture, that had brought the Megalithic based early religion to Europe, is another mystery yet to be solved. The spark of Druidism came to Europe with these early people/culture and their demise/replacement (before the advent of writing/history keeping) makes the study of them a strictly archaeological one at this point.
